Troy Palamolu was born on April 19th, 1981. He was born in Garden Grove, California. He had five siblings and he was the youngest. He was raised by one parent, his mother Suila Polamalu and was raised in a gang and drug infested town of Santa Ana. In 1989 the family moved to Tenmile, Oregon with his uncle. Troy loved it there so he begged to stay. His mother did agree and he lived there.
His uncle's family were all very good football players and got Troy into being one as well. He went to Ohio State for four years and then played for the Bengals and the Cowboys. After a few years Troy got a good reputation with football. He played running back and defensive back. Even though he was not very big he was fast and aggressive. Almost as if he was a jungle man. He had the "it" factor even in his teen years. He was also very good at baseball and basketball. Everyone looked at him as an overall good athlete.
Troy is a very religious and spiritual person. He likes to say a quick prayer when him and his team does something great. He is now one of the most feared players for the Steelers. Troy is considered a safety. One of his favorite plays is to "hide" behind a blitzing linebacker and then explode into the backfield after his teammate is blocked.
Troy is not only a great player but a great person. He loves his family and isn't scared to show a little prayer. He is a self spoken guy and loves his job.
