Have you ever been sky diving? I haven't, and nor would I ever try it. My mind was made up even more after I heard of the story of what happened to a first-time skydiver in South Carolina.
Daniel Pharr, a 25 year old Army soldier, was sky diving when his instructor suffered from a heart attack. Pharr was parachuting to the ground, he was talking to his instructor, George "Chip" Steele, when suddenly the instructor went silent. Pharr knew something was wrong so by instinct he grabbed the right handle to try and avoid hitting a house and some trees.
The two landed about a third of a mile away from the intended landing spot. As soon as they hit the ground Pharr attemped CPR on Steele .Pharr's attempt to revive him failed. George Steele was later pronounced dead. You can read the entire article on the deadly sky diving jump here.
