LaDainian Tomlinson May Miss Playoff Game Against Pittsburgh

Every year since 2004, San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson has suffered an injury. The first round, fifth pick of the 2001 draft strained his groin in 2004, had a lingering rib injury in 2005, injured his jaw in 2006, and last year in the playoffs he injured his knee.

This year he has had two separate injuries. Earlier in the season he jammed his right big toe. Now he is suffering from his groin injury enough that he might have to sit out the second round playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has been getting treatment all week after the wild card game win last week against the Indianapolis Colts. LT isn't sure that one week of treatment is enough for him to play. He said this is probably the worst injury he has had in his career.

The Chargers will travel to Pittsburgh on Sunday. Earlier in the season the Chargers went to Pittsburgh and lost against the Steelers 11-10. Whether LaDainian Tomlinson will play Sunday will not be known until a few days before. Or maybe a game time decision.
