EA Sports Active: Personal Trainer Game for Wii

By The Herb Doctor at 06/07/09 07:36

Previously we have blogged about the Wii Fit fitness activity game for Nintendo's Wii game console. It has become one of the world's most successful games with sales reaching to more than 15 million worldwide. It has already spawned a sequel due to its popularity; Wii Fit Plus.

And to add a little competition to Wii's best selling fitness game, EA Sports released their very own exercise-sports activity game, the EA Sports Active: Personal Trainer. Wee obviously as the name of the game suggests, you will have your very own virtual personal trainer when game is played.

The major difference between the two games are the use of Wii accessories. With the Wii Fit and the Wii Fit Plus, you need to use the Wii Balance Board however the EA Sports Active: Personal Trainer, you don't need the balance board and instead you get a new Nunchuk which is strap on the legs connected to the Wii Remote to detect lower body movements.

The good thing about the EA Personal Trainer is that the virtual trainer will do all the necessary explanations and will give procedures and supervise work-out plans. You can also go for the 30-Day Challenge Mode that lets you set a goal to reduce body calories for 30 days.

There is also a custom workout session that lets you obtain the workput that fits you well and your needs. In fact, you can burn 100 calories even in just one playing session.

Indeed, technology is now playing a big role in bringing back the good health to its makers.
