Adam "Pac Man" Jones was with the Dallas Cowboys for only one year. A spokesman for the Cowboys announced that they are cutting the cornerback due to his dissappointing play and also because of his six week suspension earlier in the season.
On October 7th Jones was involved in a fight with one of the team hired bodyguards. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Jones for 6 weeks as a result of the fight. "Pacman" also missed one more game due to an injury.
Adam "Pacman" Jones was suspended all last football season. When Goodell reinstated him to play Dallas picked him up hoping to get a shut-down cornerback on defense and a touchdown threat on the punt and kickoff return. Thats not what they got. Jones did not have any interceptions on defense and only had an average of 4.5 yards on kick punt return.
Jones has no complaints about the Dallas team or the fans. His release will become official on February 9th. In my own personal opinion I think "Pacman" find another team real quick. He is young and has the ability to be a threat at the cornerback position. He just needs to focus more on his game and stay out of trouble. Good Luck Adam "Pacman" Jones.
