Please give us a short summary of your website?
One of the reasons that modern-day pirates are so successful in intercepting commercial ships is, because they know hours in advance where their quarry is going to be, thanks to AIS. ("AIS" stands for 'Automatic Identification System'.) All commercial ships carry AIS transponders, these cost well over US$2000.- You can have this information too.... and you don't even need to become a pirate. AIS on yachts detects commercial ships in a 400 sq. Mile area and warns you of their presence, so you can avoid them. When a ship enters your security circle, (1Nm to 20Nm radius), an alert shows on screen and sounds an audible alarm.
